MEP and facility maintenance services
All types of MEP and facility maintenance works, delivered by supervised in-house teams across Doha and the rest of Qatar.
MEP & Facility Maintenance
One contract covering the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in your building — planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and the coordination between trades that usually falls through the cracks.
Most buildings do not fail because of one system. They fail at the seams — where the chiller contractor, the electrician and the plumber each assume someone else owns the problem. MicroMax takes the whole MEP scope under one contract so there is a single engineer accountable for the building, one reporting format, and one number to call.
- Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Predictive maintenance and equipment monitoring
- Corrective, minor and major repair works
- Multi-trade site coordination and supervision
- Asset condition reporting and job tracking
- Procurement of spares and consumables

HVAC Installation & Maintenance
Central cooling from first inspection through to commissioning — DX and chilled-water systems for hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, offices, hotels and residential complexes.
In Qatar, cooling is not a comfort system — it is a business continuity system. We take full responsibility for HVAC works from inspection to completion, integrating equipment into a working whole rather than dropping units on a roof and leaving.
- Chillers, FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs and CCUs
- CHW pumps and pressurisation units
- Chemical dosing and water treatment units
- Ductwork, piping and thermal insulation
- Ventilation systems and cold storage rooms
- Testing, balancing and commissioning

Electrical Installation & Maintenance
Low and medium voltage distribution designed, installed and maintained by certified electrical engineers and master electricians.
Panels, distribution and protection are where most avoidable downtime originates. Our electrical team builds and maintains distribution systems that are labelled, documented and testable — so the next fault takes minutes to trace, not hours.
- LV and HV panels, SMSB and distribution boards
- AHU and equipment control panels
- Transformers and generator connections
- UPS supply and installation
- Interior and exterior lighting installations
- Earthing and bonding installation

Firefighting & Suppression Systems
Sprinkler networks, pump rooms, tanks and suppression systems — supplied, installed, tested and kept in service.
Fire systems are the part of a building that must work on the one day nobody planned for. We supply and install cost-effective, standards-compliant equipment, and just as importantly, we keep it tested and documented afterwards.
- Sprinkler systems and wet risers
- Fire pump rooms and fire water tanks
- FM200, aerosol and deluge suppression
- Hose reels, hydrants and extinguishers
- Periodic inspection, testing and servicing
- Equipment supply for contractors and owners

Fire Alarm & Low Current Systems
Addressable and conventional fire alarm, plus the telephone and structured data backbone that runs alongside it.
Detection and low-current cabling share the same containment, the same ceilings and the same commissioning window. Running them together removes a whole category of clashes and rework from the programme.
- Addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
- Detectors, sounders, interfaces and panels
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning
- Telephone and structured data cabling
- Containment, racks, patching and labelling
- As-built documentation and handover records

Plumbing & Drainage
Hot and cold water, drainage, filtration and external water services for commercial and residential buildings.
Water problems are rarely dramatic and always expensive. We install and maintain distribution and drainage that is accessible, isolatable and properly supported — the difference between a ten-minute repair and a ceiling replacement.
- Hot and cold water distribution systems
- Water tank installation and boilers
- Building drainage and road drainage works
- Water filtration and treatment
- Irrigation and external plumbing works
- Leak investigation and pipework repairs

Civil & General Contracting
Builder's work, fit-out and site improvement that supports and completes the MEP scope.
MEP work leaves holes in walls, plinths to be cast and finishes to be made good. Rather than hand you back to a second contractor, we carry the associated civil scope so the building is handed over finished.
- General contracting and builder's work
- Commercial and industrial works
- Facilities construction and alterations
- Site improvement and rehabilitation
- Utilities and infrastructure works
- Making good, finishes and reinstatement

Corrective & Preventive Maintenance Contracts
Reactive repair is the most expensive way to run a building. An annual contract moves spend from emergencies to schedule, and moves the risk from your operations team to ours.
Almost every emergency call-out we attend was visible months earlier — a rising current draw, a fouled coil, a pump running hotter than it did last quarter. A maintenance contract turns those early signals into a planned part replacement during working hours instead of an out-of-hours failure with a tenant on the phone.
Scheduled PPM
- Agreed visit frequency per system
- Checklist-based inspection and servicing
- Filters, belts and consumables
- Readings logged and trended
- Written report every visit
Corrective & breakdown
- Contracted attendance times
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Minor repairs inside scope
- Major repairs quoted per event
- Parts sourcing and replacement
Asset & compliance records
- Asset register and equipment list
- Test and inspection records
- As-built and O&M documentation
- Condition reporting
- Replacement forecasting
Contracts are priced off the equipment list and the visit frequency, not off floor area — which is why the first step is always a site survey. Systems that can sit inside a contract include chillers, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs and split units; CHW pumps and dosing units; LV panels, generators and emergency lighting; fire alarm panels, sprinklers and fire pumps; water tanks, pumps and filtration; and structured cabling.
Not sure which scope you need?
Send the drawings, the equipment list, or a photograph of the problem. We will tell you which disciplines are involved and what a realistic programme looks like.
Scope, quoting and approvals
Which areas of Qatar do you cover?
We are based in Al Muntazah, Zone 24, Doha, and take on work across Qatar. Travel outside Doha is confirmed at quotation stage so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you take on maintenance contracts as well as one-off jobs?
Both. A one-off call-out for a specific fault is fine, and so is an annual maintenance contract covering scheduled visits across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems. Many clients start with a repair and move to a contract once they have seen the work.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes. Offices, clinics, hotels and retail units are rarely able to shut down, so works are phased and scheduled around trading hours or carried out overnight where the building permits it. Tell us the constraint at enquiry stage and it will be built into the programme.
What do you need in order to quote?
For installation works: drawings, a BOQ or a clear scope description. For maintenance: an equipment list, or a site visit if no list exists. For a repair: a photograph of the unit's nameplate and a description of the fault is usually enough to give an initial indication.
Who handles authority approvals?
In Qatar, fire detection and firefighting systems fall under the Civil Defence Department (QCDD), and power and water connections under Kahramaa. Confirm at enquiry stage who is holding responsibility for approvals and submissions, so it is written into the scope and priced correctly rather than assumed.
How quickly can you attend a breakdown?
Attendance times for contract clients are agreed in writing within the maintenance contract. For one-off breakdowns, message the location and a description of the fault on WhatsApp and we will confirm the earliest available slot.
Do you supply materials, or can we supply our own?
Either. We can supply and install as a single package, or install and commission equipment that you have already procured. Where you supply the equipment, warranty responsibility for the goods stays with your supplier and ours covers the installation.
